Amazing picture and mission. Perhaps the planet has a chance for survival if we can land Bruce Willis and Co. on the giant approaching comet and divert it....:) I also want to thank you for your mention of my blog and informative/interesting post on Minnesota's political link to Progressivism then and now. Although I don't do a lot of politics on my blog I could refrain from mentioning a State electorate who chose to raise their own taxes. That being the day after the recent mid term debacle in much of the rest of the country. Along with President TR, HHH is one of my idols. Your should research sometime how Nixon and Claire Chennault sabotaged the Paris peace talks in a traitorous act to win the election in 68...:(
Thanks for stopping by and commenting, Troutbirder.I've just been reading about the Chennault affair - how disgusting, and Nixon beat Humphrey by less than one percent of the popular vote. I'd forgotten how much I disliked Nixon, who has been somewhat rehabilitated, albeit mainly by contrasting him with present day Republicans who are Fascists next to Tricky Dick. But the dirty dealing, the "Tricky Dick" Nixon, is overlooked, as are too often the long list of Watergate crimes, which were serious, serious, serious. And his disingenuous manner, smiling at the camera knowing he was making fools of everyone who believed what he was saying. Ah, the day he resigned in disgrace, that was a good day. That whole year or so of him struggling, sinking, going down for the last time, was a good one!
