I'm so proud of how the Democrats New Mexico sends to congress stand up and express their outrage at injustices like this, and through their speeches and writings other deeds inspire the social conscious latent in the people and lead them in the struggle for the betterment of mankind.

  1. They must remember how Bibi wowed them with his respectful & BIPARTISAN speech. Not!

  2. @ Troutbirder... It was not Bibi's respectful & BIPARTISAN speech. Ill bet you a dollar to a doughnut hole it was AIPAC - The American Israel Public Affairs Committee handing out fist fulls of dollars to our politicians. I am disappointed in our delegation and I let them know it.

  3. Thanks for the comment, NM. About letting our delegation know, I had given up on that, but have been reconsidering after thinking about how few people actually vote. Voting reaches a peak in presidential elections, when even then almost half of the people don't bother voting, and bottoms out in local elections when, in New Mexico anyway, about what, 10 to 15 percent vote?

But in either case that gives each person who does vote a disproportionate amount of influence in the importance of their particular vote compared to the number of votes cast. How can we leverage this to our advantage? You'd think even 20 letters would be something that makes them stop and have a meeting.
